Ekiti State former Deputy Governor, Prof. Olusola Eleka has withdrawn from senatorial race in the state. Prof. Olusola who had earlier indicated interest in running for a senatorial seat on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) said that his former boss, Ayo Fayose had dumped him for another aspirant despite that he had earlier publicly endossed him.
In a letter he wrote to the PDP national leadership, the former Deputy Governor said: “I wish to notify the national leadership of my party on my voluntary withdrawal from participating in the senatorial election.
