Right now, many young people are talking excitedly about Seyi Tinubu, the Lawyer son of President Bola Tinubu.
Since 2023, this ruggedly handsome young man has been very visible around his father and the corridors of power.
Though he is 41, his father respects him so much because of his goal getting personal attribute. He is also a strategic thinker who has rare gifts in conceptualising ideas and bringing it to fruition. He is very creative also.
Over the last 5 years, Seyi has been very busy, mobilsing the Youths of Nigeria for Politics. He feels this is the time for the Youths to be empowered by Government. And he has been able to achieve a lot in that regard.
Unknown to many, this young man has been able to put many bright young people in positions of power, both at the state and federal level.
With the result that today, the youths have gained a lot from the Tinubu administration.
City People has discovered that only few young Nigerians have generated as much political attention in recent years as Seyi Tinubu.
Although he occupies no elective position and has never contested any political office, he has become one of the most recognisable political personalities among the younger generation.
Known initially as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, Seyi has increasingly emerged as an influential voice within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly among youth groups, supporting his father, President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
His nationwide engagements, youth empowerment programmes and political mobilisation have put him in public glare.
Lets dive into his story. He was born on October 13, 1985.
He received his early education in Lagos before studying Business Administration at the University of Maryland in the United States. He later obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013.
Before becoming widely known politically, Seyi Tinubu had established himself in the Real Estate, Advertising and Media industry. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Loatsad Promomedia, one of Nigeria’s outdoor Advertising companies.
His business interests span Advertising, Media, Branding, marketing communications and investment in Real Estate. Industry observers credit him with helping to modernise aspects of outdoor advertising through digital innovations and strategic partnerships.
He has devoted significant attention to Youth development, through the Noella Foundation, which supports education, entrepreneurship and healthcare initiatives. The foundation has funded scholarships, skills acquisition, startup support and medical outreach programmes.

Since President Tinubu assumed office in May 2023, Seyi has embarked on extensive visits across Nigeria.

Religious leaders, Community groups, Market associations, APC youth structures.
These visits are often centred on explaining government policies, encouraging youth participation in governance and promoting the administration’s agenda. So, today he maybe in Yobe, tomorrow he is off to Damaturu, next maybe to Kano or Zamfara.

The City Boy Movement (CBM) is everywhere now, across the country. It is a youth-focused sociopolitical advocacy organisation that emerged in 2022 during the presidential campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Established as a grassroots mobilisation platform, the movement was created to galvanise support for Tinubu’s presidential ambition and has since evolved into a nationwide advocacy network promoting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Today, the organisation describes itself as a people-driven civic movement dedicated to Youth empowerment, community development, civic education, grassroots mobilization and public engagement with government policies. It operates across Nigeria’s 36 states, the Federal Capital Territory and several diaspora chapters.
The movement was born at the height of Nigeria’s 2023 electioneering campaign when young supporters of Bola Tinubu sought to organise themselves into a structured platform capable of mobilising voters, especially first-time voters and youths.
Following Tinubu’s electoral victory, the group expanded its objectives beyond campaign activities to include civic engagement, policy advocacy, leadership development and public enlightenment on government reforms. What is the Leadership Structure of CBM?
The City Boy Movement has developed a national organizational structure.
