This is the story of Erinosho Esther, a fashion Model in the making from Ogun state. She is a student of The University of Lagos (Unilag) studying Public administration.
She says as an upcoming Fashion Model, “I contested in the Lagos Most Beautiful Girl (LMBG) pageantry 2022 in Lagos State, and made it to the top 15.”
“I’m currently based in Lagos as a part model(face, wrist, neck, ankle, etc) Commercial and Editorial model. I’ve worked with several makeup Artists, Photographers and Brands in Lagos state with excellent success rating and customer appreciation.”
“My aspiration is to work with top brands and giants in the Modeling Industry both home and abroad (fashion brands, makeup brands, bill boards and commercials).”
How did it all start for her? ” I’ve always had the ambition to be an active Top Class Model from my early days as a child. I recall that whenever I go outings with my parents or siblings and I see big bill boards on the high way with beautiful smiling faces on them, being a not too happy child at times, I remember that I’d always like to emulate their smiling faces imagining and seeing myself in their mood as seen on the bill boards. That alone usually will keep me lively for that day.
I will say “I’d like to smile like this aunty on a billboard or poster someday coming so whoever is depressed about something would see me and smile too”
Beauty and Elegance simply imply something pleasing, beautiful, stylish appearance, gorgeousness, etc but in modeling, you can be Beautiful and Elegant if you choose to.
One can be facially or physically beautiful but NOT Elegant. Why? Because the person lacks Confidence! I believe that In modeling, there’s a need for one to be able to channel out his or her inner Diva to make you beautiful and elegant, And this can only be done through Confidence!
You just gotta believe in yourself, what you can do, and believe you’re unique. That works better.”
“I remember my first attempt in modeling when I almost lost my confidence, while I was supposed to pose in front of the camera cause I felt perhaps my poses were not good enough.I kept asking myself a series of questions: am I facing the camera well?? And other thoughts/feelings from anxiety.
But thankfully I quickly got myself back together and successfully concluded the shoot with an outstanding rating. After that experience, I practiced more in front of the mirror and watched more videos on the net and on social media that helped me build confidence and believe more in myself.
And ever since then, I believe I do not exaggerate when I say my pictures and videos have been one of the best in Lagos Nigeria.”
“Esther has, and is still that ambitious and purpose-driven lady I believe in passion and focused dedication towards a goal.”
“I’m still hoping to get featured on billboards, contracted by great artists, and get on commercial sets and maximize my potential positively so much that I contribute significantly to shaping and transformation that is fast overwhelming the Industry all over the world. Gracia’s.”
