As we read and grasp in-depth, the role of Cyrus. We begin to understand the mutation and migration of GOD to include other nations, basically the inclusion of not just the Jews but the Gentiles. This introduces even in the Old Testament, the Babylonian, Egyptian, and others, reflecting the all-encompassing Love of our GOD. So Cyrus in spite of certain defaults, earned the LORD’S approval to rule, especially as his chosen people remain resolute in erroneous worship and lifestyle. Cyrus, who did not qualify, lived more honourable for a Season.
From this line of thought, we can decipher why Trump in spite of his idiosyncrasies was pliable in GOD’S hands. In essence, we see here GOD using the foolish to alert the wise.
America has moved very far from the vision, as a Nation with a past of declaring so boldly her stance with GOD, Trump became the affirmation of all that has been lost in this regard, be it Homosexuality, the Revival of the Bible in the classroom, or the increasing intrusion of other Religion through the permissive society. All these as he tried to point out were reasons for the proliferation of terrorism all over the world. With this, he earned the full backing of the Church through much prayers and votes and as some say, a good number of the American white community.
The dilemma was the fact that the default in terms of the Character of Trump was incongruous with the mindset of the Church. The impulsive nature of Trump revealed his unforgivable flaws ranging from his views on Women, derogatory remarks on weaker nations and the weaker sex. ALL fraught with his crude outspoken nature, with the tendency of the raw and uncouth a clear revelation demonstrative of his person an errant incongruity with Church values incidentally eventually dividing his voters and the Church. Clearly, some believed he could not be all that, certainly not the Messiah, which meant the Election waited to Correct and right all the wrongs involved in placing him there. No doubt this salient point has evoked a massive turn out of voters.
America is one Nation, so emphatic on the public image, that’s why Stars like Reagan made it to Presidency. Trump, on the other hand, has thrown caution to the wind, appeared bent on a disgraceful spree on all America stood for, the American dream had to be reenacted, revaluated, and defined with much decorum this time around irrespective. In spite of his feats and achievements, the world and the American Citizenry were ready for amends. By observation Trump on the whole was his greatest enemy, he was or is his own undoing. We can only wish Americans all the best!
