A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a former member of the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta North/ Obafemi Owode/Odeda Federal Constituency and two times Governorship aspirant in Ogun State and who also wears the cap as the Sobaloju of Egbaland, Hon (Chief) Jelili Kayode Amusan is popularly known as ‘JKA’ in the political system of Ogun State, have sent a congratulatory message to the good people of Ogun state on the celebration of 49th anniversary of its creation.
Hon Amusan praised the founding fathers for their vision and outstanding contribution to the development of the state we call ours today.
He made this known in a press release through his media office in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The grassroots politician praised the vibrant and resilient leaders that the state has produced in the past 48 years of creation by the then-military Head of State, the late General Murtala Mohammed.
He said ,” We celebrate our strength and unity as a state and people rich in culture and traditions, with solid foundation by the likes of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Tai Solarin, Adeola Adetola, Chief Toye Coker, Chief Anikulapo Kuti, Chief M K O Abiola, Chief Olabisi Onabanjo, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), Senator Ibikunle Amosun and many more. It had been a remarkable journey of progress and development as a state and people after its creation.”
Hon Amusan emphasized the outstanding achievement of the present administration led by Prince Dapo Abiodun In infrastructural development and economic advancement which has repositioned the state among the southwest states.
He called on the good people of the state to support the present administration to enjoy more dividends of democracy in the state.
