•How SUNDAY EYE, DADA AIGBE Settled 15 Months Rift
The long rift between 2 big Nahco big boys, Sunday Eiye and Dada Aigbefondly called “Dandy” who are top members of Abe Igi Anu social club may be a thing of the past as Fuji living legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal mediated in the fight a few days ago.
The 10-month fight which has been a subject of discussion among many Lagos Freight forwarders seems to have divided the popular Lagos social clubs which has over 30 top rich Freight forwarders of note as members.
Of course, why it was subject of discussion was because of the closeness between Sunday Aiye and Dada Aigbe before the fight. They were said to have been so close that even their friends admired their friendships. Of course, it is no hidden fact that many Nacho big boys have one or two people as best friends among themselves despite being in the same business.
So for Sunday and Dandy, even being in the same line of business could bring them apart as they didn’t only belong to the same social club, they are age bracket.
What is the genesis of the fight you may ask? A Nacho big boy who doesn’t want his name mentioned revealed that it has to do with a particular job which both friends had an utmost interest in. Our source revealed further that it was alleged that the 2 friends said to have gone to China to bid for the clearance of the same set of cargo which ran into many millions of dollars. He further disclosed that it was unknown to both parties that they had interests in the same line of business until when the documents got to one of them and the other felt it was pure cheating.
The fight was said to have been so messy that the whole of Nacho Port, Ikeja, was on fire for several days. Mr Sunday Eiye and Dada Aigbe were to have thrown tantrum and they were embroiled in a hot argument that almost generated into a big fight. They were even said to have fought physically and they had to both behold to avoid physical combat.
What did the other members of the party do? Of course, they were said to have been summoned to a meeting but all efforts to settle the case proved abortive as the other felt he was cheated. Though they were told to sheath their sword but they, however, don’t see eye to eye.
How was it resolve, you may ask? It took the effort of the Fuji living legend, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal to put an end to the long fight between Sunday Eiye and Dada Aigbe.
It was at a big Birthday where a top Nacho big boy who is also a member of Abe-igi Anu. Though both parties arrived at the party separately and since they don’t see eye to eye they sat at separate tables at the Lagos party.
Of course, the Mayegun of the world has been hinted that the 2 parties don’t see eye to eye and this made the King of the Fuji to look for a way to bring them on stage together.
The stage has over 10 top members of Abeg-Igi Anu where K1 sang a peaceful song that they should both sheath their sword and let the sleeping dog lie. This peace sang by K1 made Sada Aigbe who is from Edo and his fellow counterpart Sunday Eiye to smile.
K1 sang that popular Song “ija oye wa, kama ja, ibeji meji oje ra won niyan”( a peacemaking song”. He sang this for both of them and they embraced peace. This gave many of the members of the club a sigh of relief as they are both likable members of the club.
This will be the first official peacemaking assignment of Mayegun of Yoruba land, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal after his announcement by His Royal Highness, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo. K1’s role is to serve as a mediator among all Yoruba races and other tribes in Nigeria and the diaspora. He will be having a 3 days grand party in mid-January l, 2020.
