These are troubling times for Lagos Big Boy and director of Sunrise Power, Laitan Leno Adesanya, as he has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with the alleged ‘$6 billion Mambilla contract fraud’.
In a notice released on Tuesday, the EFCC stated that Adesanya is being sought after for his suspected involvement in a case of collusion and the unlawful offering of bribes to government officials.
Adesanwa was implicated in three of the seven charges filed against Olu Agunloye, the former minister of power and steel.
The EFCC has initiated legal proceedings against Agunloye regarding the $6 billion Mambilla hydropower contract.
