Members of the Lagos state chapter of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu popular known as SWAGA are set to gather at least 2 million votes for him come 2023 presidential election.
This was said on Sunday 5th December, 2021 at the
glamourous meeting of the women’s wing of the vibrant group in Lagos state. The executive members of the Lagos state chapter of the group led by the chairperson, honourable Omobolanle One and the state coordinator,Hajia Fatima Bello welcome into their midst the national coordinator of the group,the highly experienced honourable Ayo Omidiran who doubles as the Osun state coordinator for SWAGA.
The event tagged “Meet and Greet”.It was held at the popular Abdulazeez drive on the high brow River Valley Estate in Ojodu Berger area of the state.The gathering witnessed a large pool of women leaders across the state who are ready to work for the realisation of the Asiwaju presidency.
The meeting therefore served as an avenue to further enlighten members on the task at hand and how best it can be achieved using the influence of the vibrant women for SWAGA.
During her speech, the state chairman of the group revealed their plans to secure at least 2million votes for Tinubu,their most preferred candidate for the presidential seat come 2023.She said the group would employ all available opportunities to educate women across the state to get fully involved in the mobilization process as well as getting registered as eligible and active voters.
The Lagos state coordinator of the group added that they are fully prepared for the task at hand.She said that the impact of their activities would soon be felt across the state as they intend to embark massive sensitisation and mobilization across the nooks and crannies of the state.
Also addressing members of the group was its national coordinator.She extolled the enviable qualities of Tinubu as someone who has produced many leaders and has given women opportunities to thrive.She said she believes Tinubu emergence as the Nigerian president in 2023 would benefit women in many ways.She however urged members on good conduct as she called for support from the nooks and crannies of the state to help make the vision of Tinubu presidency a reality.
