…In LAGOS Real Estate Sector
Many don’t know that the Lagos Real Estate sector is largely dominated by the Igbos. And interestingly majority of them are from Anambra State. These guys are Billionaires. In the Lekki area of Lagos today, you hardly see 4 estates out of 10 whose owners or developers aren’t from Anambra.
This week, City People Magazine, brings you some of these guys. Below are excerpts.
CHIEF EMEKA UZOETO
Chief Emeka Uzoeto, the CEO, 1st Homes Ltd. He’s one of the biggest developers in Lekki/Ikoyi areas. But he’s hardly talk about. His massive real estate in the upmarket Lekki/Ajah axis of Lagos stands in a category unto himself when it comes to the list of top real estate investors in Nigeria.

DR KENNEDY OKONKWO
Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, CEO, Crest Homes is a renowned real estate mogul and a founder of Nedcomoaks. He’s popularly called Lagos biggest landlord. Dr Kennedy is a for. His company is focused on developing and managing high-end residential estates in Lagos State. They have developed more than 2000 housing units which include, Victoria Crest, Citadel views etc. Ned pioneered the first Solar powered estate in Nigeria.
CHIEF FRANK EMMANUEL OKAFOR
Chief Frank Emmanuel Okafor is the founder of Marcopolo Properties, a real estate development company in Lagos. Cruze garden, one of its estates in Lagos is an architectural masterpiece.
He’s one of the big boys from Anambra who plays big. He’s a friend of Ned Okonkwo.
ROMAN’S UGOCHUCKU
Romanus Ugochukwu Orji is the founder and CEO of Romax Properties, a real estate development company in Lagos State founded in 2005. The company specializes in the construction of residential and commercial properties. One of their major projects is Southern View Estate.
AMB DR EMMA UDECHUKWU
Amb Dr. Emma Udechukwu (Omemma Ojoto) is a real estate mogul and the founder of Roxbury Estate in Lagos. The estate offers luxury residential properties around Lekki areas in Lagos State. He’s one of the biggest developers in the VGC axis in Lagos.
CLETUS ORAGWA
Cletus Oragwa (Zenco) is a real estate investor in Lagos State. His company, Zenco, specializes in the development of residential properties and apartments. He owns major apartments in Lagos.

Chief Celestine Emokhai (Emcel Properties) is the founder of Emcel Properties, a real estate company in Lagos State. The company focuses on residential property development around Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos.
He is the of the big players from Anambra.
SAMUEL ODINAMADU
Samuel Odinammadu is a major player in Lagos State. He’s the founder of SKC Properties and has properties scattered around Lekki area. He developed one of his estates around Orchid area and the estate is hot cake for celebrities. He his a chieftaincy titled from Anambra.
ISMAEL EMEKA UDENKA
Ismael Emeka Udenka is a big player in the real estate industry. He is the founder of Lucky Gardens Estate, a residential estate in lagos State known for its quality infrastructure. He has up to 20 mini estates around Lekki/Ajah Axis.
