MRS OLUFEMI AUSTIN PETERS ANSWERS THE FINAL CALL AT 76

With deep sorrow but total submission to the will of God, we regret to announce the sad demise of Mrs Victoria Olufemi Abike Austen-Peters nee Lasebikan. She was the widow of Nigeria’s first head of its Armed Forces Medical Corps, the Late Brigadier Olumuyiwa Adegoke Austen-Peters.
Aged 76, Mrs Femi Austen-Peters, died on Monday 17, October 2022 at her residence in Otto, Lagos, South West Nigeria.
Mrs Femi Austen-Peters studied in Nigeria and the United Kingdom and worked in Nigeria’s public service before becoming a successful businesswoman with a chain of businesses which include Fapet, a popular fashion design company, and Otto water, a fast-selling water brand.

Mrs Femi Austen-Peters is survived by her only sister Mrs Oluyemisi Adede (née Lasebikan) and step-sons and a step-daughter who are Reverend Fagbola, Dotun, Tokunbo, Timi, Adeoye and Miss Bisoye Austen-Peters who, together with other family members will greatly miss her.
Her extensive family in Ibadan, friends and in-laws both in Nigeria and outside the country will no doubt miss her.
Burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
