Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has approved the appointment of Olukayode Pitan as the managing director of the Bank of Industry (BOI).
He takes over from Waheed Olagunju who was the MD of the bank.
Osinbajo also appointed Dikko Aliyu Abdulrahman, who is the director-general (DG) of the National Pension Commission‎, as chairman, governing council of the bank and appointed Funso Doherty as the DG of the National Pension Commission.
Doherty replaces Dikko, who only spent about a month as the head of the commission.
The acting president appointed Ali Usman as chairman of the commission.
Other appointments were Manase Benga – executive commissioner‎; Zaki Magawata – executive commissioner; Ben Ovison – executive commissioner and Nyerere Ayim – executive commissioner.
