The group celebrated its 6th year end of session Prize Giving Award Ceremony on Thursday, 12th July, 2018 and it was a lovely event.
Just like a mustard seed, Tesjok Group of Schools has grown big and tall with its branches spreading far and wide. It has been able to live up to its core values of raising future leaders who see, appreciate and recognise hard work as the secret of success. Tesjok Group of Schools has produced many great students who are soaring in various higher institutions in and outside the country with their mind-blowing academic excellence which is the result of the school teachers good work and the devotion of the qualified and highly motivated members of staff.
Aside from the fact that Tesjok Group of School operates in a very conducive environment of learning, they also provide a reputable and broad-based education at a higher standard compared with what is obtainable in other parts of the world. They equally produce a safe, caring and encouraging environment for student’s educational and social challenges to develop their skills and character where necessary.
Speaking at the 6th end of session valedictory service and prize giving ceremony held on the 12th July, 2018, at Tesjok Group of Schools compound located at 7, Emmahalemu Street, off Olakunle Street, Abaranje, Ikotun Lagos, Mrs. Adejoke Moyosade Ojo-Director of Tesjok Group of School welcomed all the guests and parents that took time to honour and celebrate with them. In her speech, the ever vibrant Adejoke talked about their success so far in 2018 and promised to do more.
ABOUT THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SCHOOL
Engr. Funsho Ojo is the Chairman of Tesjok Group of Schools. A man who has dedicated his life to the growth of the school in all ramifications is the husband of Mrs. Adejoke Ojo, the Director of the School. Many do not even know that Engr. Ojo is the owner of the school probably because of his gentleness and, ofcourse, his reliable wife’s professional touch as the Director of the School.

The impact of the good work being imparted to the students/pupils is unquantifiable and it is evident in the cooperation/support, the parents are giving the school.
The parents came out en-masse to support the school on this very day and did their best in appreciating the children both in Kind and Cash after their individual presentation. And majority of them waited till the ceremony was brought to a close.
ABOUT THE MEDICAL CHECK UP
At Tesjok School, they really know how to say “Thank you” and one of the evidence to appreciate the parents for their support was a Medical section prepared for parents for comprehensive medical check up.
WHAT MR. SEGUN TOLD THE PARENTS
Mr. Segun Osibote, Director Ministry of Education Curriculum department advised parents to always exercise patience as many parents are always in a hurry. He said based on the report they’ve received many parents want their children to be in a class that is above their age, which is very dangerous. He encouraged parents to stop rushing their children as the class that every child will be and function well will be determined by his/her age.

TRADITIONAL WEAR
In line with what Lagos State Government passed into law that every private school must be teaching its students Yoruba language, Tesjok Group of School has not only implemented the policy, but has also introduced Texture Traditional Wear as part of the uniforms of the school. The texture wear is beautiful and customised with the school boldly written on it.
ABOUT THE PRIZE/SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Several prize awards in different categories were given to many students at the event to appreciate and to encourage them to do more. On the scholarship award, though the school is known for this as it’s part of its tradition to give atleasts 2 scholarship awards to the best students. Kudos to the school Director, Mrs. Adejoke Ojo, who always goes out to solicit for the scholarship from the well- to-do lovers and well wishers of the establishment.
According to her, this year was a bit difficult as they were unable to get 2 scholarship awards as usual, but they were able to get one owing to the economic situation. But the school is taking it upon itself to sponsor one child and the award went to one of the students whose mother, a widow, happens to be one of the faithful teachers in the school.
