One, for now, is lost for tributes,not only words,for an admirable and loving role model, Sir (Chief) Bode Akindele, KJW, Parakoyi of Ibadanland, Baba Ijo,Methodist Church Nigeria, Agbeni, Ibadan, Oyo State of Nigeria. He died this morning in his Apapa home, Lagos State,aged 87.

Sir Bode was humane and a silent philanthropist,who detested showoff. He was a successful industrialist with businesses in Nigeria and overseas. Sir Bode loved Ibadan,his hometown,much as he loved Nigeria.
