A closer glimpse into the life of the pretty yet bold face behind the popular real estate company; Simpli Mi Homes. Her name is HRH (Dr.) Wuraola Edna Ubebe .A. She’s from a royal home also married to a king and blessed with amazing children. HRH Dr. Edna celebrated her 40th birthday in February 2022.
As the Managing Director/CEO of Simpli MI Homes; one of Nigeria’s leading brands in Real Estate Services in Nigeria, there is no surprise that she has been the trending topic of discussion in the real estate industry in the past year. Since its inception in January 2020, Simpli Mi Homes has launched several housing estates in Lekki, ibeju Lekki, and the Epe axis of Lagos, to name a few.
An effective Manager of Human and material resources, a bridge builder, and a committed player in the Real Estate Sector, she has contributed immensely to the development of the industry in no small measure through her wealth of experience and expertise in the areas of property brokerage, property valuation, property management, Real Estate advisory, financial advisory, strategic planning amongst others.
She is a magna cum laude alumna of the University of East London, holds a Degree in Business and Human Resource Management, and also a Doctor of Science in Real Estate Management and Development from the European-American University.
Her good will and virtue have given birth to her advocating for the needy in society through her Foundation; The Edna Ubebe Foundation. She has been able to empower several youths far and wide set up to provide financial support and medical treatments and outreach for the vulnerable members of society including the widows, children, and the physically challenged.
She is an ardent believer in God, a committed Christian who walks in the knowledge of God’s Grace, and shows her appreciation through her Bi-annual Praise Program tagged ‘Simpli Praise’ with the next coming up on the 23rd of December 2022.
She has earned a reputable name and affluence not just in the real estate sector but also in the agricultural sector as this has given birth to ‘Simpli Mi Farms’. This is attributed to her discipline, doggedness, and determination.
A few days ago, she spoke to ISAAC ABIMBADE (08155107955) in her Lekki office.

What does the company offer?
Simpli Mi Homes is a real estate firm; majorly into the sale and development of land. Our housing development of 20 units triplet is the next massive project to begin in the shortest possible time.
For many of our readers who will be reading your success story for the first time, can you please introduce yourself?
I am Queen Wuraola Edna Ubebe A., the last child of Six (6), married and humbly blessed with beautiful kids.
Why real estate?
Simple! The love for Real Estate. I officially started my company (Simpli Mi Homes) in January 2020. I started my Real Estate journey as an investor, before that, I was in the fashion business for about 10 years while still heavily invested in the Real Estate world.
Tell us the idea behind Simpli Mi Homes.
Entrepreneurship is something that is chosen, not a desperate way out. So, Simpli Mi Homes is a result of the foresight to deliver wisdom/ideas as detailed as thought.
Did your expectations match what you saw before you joined Real Estate?
Yes! I knew the sector was no joke, so my expectations were based on concrete planning and precise vision. Everybody that knows me can tell you I am a goal-getter.
How do you market your brand?
Good product markets itself. laughs Well, we’ve got able consultants and God does the most.
You just clocked 40, how did you celebrate it?
With Family and around those that love me. It was exciting.
Can you briefly tell us your background?
I am a proud Edo woman. My Father is from Isan and my Mother was from Ekwuoma, Delta State. I attended Emotan Primary School. The Secondary School was Federal Government Girls College, Benin. Also attended the University of Benin where I got my Diploma in Law before proceeding to East London University and I have my doctorate. I’m passionate about books but my love for business can’t be restricted. Empowerment is one of my many goals, so, I believe in having yours.
