Gone are the days that the male, dominate this aspect. Lately, ladies are currently dominating all aspects of the industry, from acting to directing, producing and so many other areas.
Super stars like Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Kemi Adetiba, Emem Isong, Mo Abudu, Omoni Oboli, Ruth Kadiri, Mercy Aigbe, Uche Jumbo and so many others keep raising the bar, so high for others to follow.
These exceptional ladies keep making the industry proud, both locally and globally. Take for instance, Funke Akindele making a billion plus. And still counting in box office, on her latest movie “The Tribe of Judah”, a movie she acted the Lead role, produced and also directed. This outstanding achievement, has put the movie industry on another level entirely, a ground breaking record. With all these great achievements, new set of young ladies are already working day and night to follow in the league of the above mentioned ladies.
This set of young ladies are in their 30’s. When it comes to acting, they are good at interpreting roles and they have created a niche for themselves. These pretty ladies are producers delight because of their exceptional role interpretations and equally doing well in producing outstanding movies. Some of these brilliant ladies are already rooted in producing movies back-to- back, and some of them have already started the year 2024 on a good note with their production. These are the likes of Yinka Solomon, popularly known as Ogo Mushin, Kemi Apesin (kemity), Wumi Toriola, Bimpe Akintunde, Bimpe Oyebade, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Oluwaseyi Edun Johnson, Zainab Bakare, Deborah Shokoya, Jumoke Odetola, Adekemi Taofeek, Yetunde Barnabas, Bukunmi Oluwashin, ifedayo Rufai, Victoria Kolawole, Aisat Lawal, Omolara Daud and Bolanle Adeshina.

KIITAN BUKOLA
Kiitan Bukola is an award winning actress and producer. She is one of the young female movie producers to watch out for this year. 2024 is already starting on a good note for Kiitan Oluwabukola, as she will be hitting the cinema soon with her new movie titled “Angel Eyes”, many have been waiting to see the movie because it’s a known fact that she always produce outstanding movies, back to back.
ANIKE AMI OLANIYI
Anike Ami is one of the new faces of Elite Nollywood story telling. Her combo with renowned King of Fiction, Abiodun Jimoh has made her a formidable force in the industry, with her first Production, titled ANIKE AMI in 2022 followed by another masterpiece titled FRIDAY 17th. Both titles were horror/thriller genre, giving us the Stephen King’s vibes. ANIKE AMIs next thriller is titled MASO MARO… a 4 cast movie with an intense plot, action and unforgettable dialogues. A trained journalist at NIJ and a trained thespian at Prodigy Academy. Anike Temitope Amioluwa Olaniyi has also featured in landmark movies like Jagbajantis, Iseju Meta Aiye, Aiye Akamara, Sisters In Crime and many more. Anike Ami won City People’s Award as revelation of the year in 2022… Since then, she has been unstoppable in her craft.
OYINDAMOLA SANNI
Oyindamola Sanni is an actress with an enviable scorecard in the movie industry. This actress who is known for her natural acting style is also the CEO of Honeydee Films Production. With a chain of movie roles to her credit, she has also produced 10 movies. Her 10th movie is her cinema movie debut to be released in 2024. Oyindamola comes from a family of five and she’s the last born of three children. She’s a graduate of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Lagos.
HADIZA ABUBAKAR
Hadiza Abubakar, an actress and a budding Filmmaker studied Theatre Arts at the University of Benin and came into the movie industry in 2013/2014.Left in 2017 to invest in food business and farming in order to make money to start producing movies. She produced her first film in 2021. She produced 3 movies last year and she’s not in any way slowing down this year.
OLABISI ADEYEMI
Olabisi Adeyemi is an Actor and Producer. She’s from Ilesha. She’s was a product of PEFTI School. later enrolled with Goriola Hassan theatre group. She has featured in movies such as Dark Night, Domestic Maid, Till Death, Baby Mama, Alaparu, Painful Act, Sucker, Lasisi Alapoka, Amin,iya Afin, Lonpe Eleko, and many more and she has produced 4 movies so far, Okan Mimo, Ayami, Eni ibi, Kokoro and she’s not slowing down a bit, as she’s working on NETFLIX standard movie this year.
PEJU JOHNSON
Peju Johnson is a talented actress and a movie producer. She started acting in 2018. She’s a graduate of ESTG University in Cotonou, Benin Republic, Peju Johnson not only possesses academic prowess but also carries a wealth of practical knowledge acquired through her years of experience in the dynamic world of entertainment. Having produced a string of successful movies, including “Pelumi Jonathan, Replica, Suliyah, More than Blood, and “Payback,” Peju has established herself as a force to be reckoned with and she’s all out this year to dazzle her fans.
TOSIN ADEKANSOLA
Tosin Adekansola is a Nollywood actor and a movie producer. She started her acting career in 2012/2013 through Legacy school of performing act owned by Kunle Afod and graduated in 2016. She is the Producer of EMI directed by Tope Adebayo, ASE INA directed by Tokunbo Awoga….DIARY OF HONEYMOON directed Femi Are and TARADA directed by Adeniyi Atapa. She’s also ready to dazzle her fans this year.
CHINONSO ARUBAYI
Chinonso Arubayi is an actor, Tv host and film maker. She has been featured in some of the Nigerian film industry’s most notable productions like the AMVCA nominated series, “Flatmates”, ‘RUMOUR HAS IT’ by NdaniTv, Amazon Prime’s ‘CRAZY GRANNIES’ and NETFLIX’s ‘LOCKDOWN’ directed by Moses Iwang. Her role in ‘Ebi’ directed by Kayode Peters recently earned her a Nomination for ‘Best Actress’ and ‘Best International Film’ at the Toronto International Nollywood Film festival (TINFF) Chinonso holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass-Communication from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. Her career in film has led her to share the screen with many of Nollywood’s finest. After years of acting and producing for Tv, in 2018,Chinonso went on to study the Business of Film Making for film producers at the school of Media Studies at the Pan Atlantic University. She produced her first movie I AM NAZZY.
TEMITOPE OKANLAWON
Temitope Okanlawon is actor and a film producer based in Lagos. She started acting in the year 2022 through Seriki Olopolo School of Performing Art by Afeez Abiodun. Even though she just grated yet she has featured in some movies and carved a niche for herself by producing her first movie titled “OGUNPA’’ as directed by her Boss, Afeez Owo. Temitope is one of the young female movie producers to watch out for this year.
DAMILOLA OMOTOSO
Damilola Omotoso is an actress and a movie producer. She is a Chemistry graduate from the University of Ilorin. She joined the movie industry in the year 2015 and Her first movie OJU-IDE was shot in 2018 followed by ERI, STRANGE ROOM,AJENIFENI, AJINDO,MARRIED STRANGERS and KORANJOGBON. MIMISOLA DANIELS
Mimisola Daniels is one of the respected young female producers of our time whose movie has always been different from the norms. She’s a Nigerian thespian on a steady rise to stardom. She has invested her time and skills in motion pictures across various channels, television, cinema, and even social media. Mimisola Daniels, an actor with a Bachelor of Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University is an award winning producer, who has produced many outstanding movies, and undoubtedly she’s 100percent ready for her fans this year 2024.
OLASEENI ABIOLA
Olaseeni Abiola is an excellent actor and a serial entrepreneur. She is the CEO of Celeb interior decorator and site developer, JCF fabrics and BO film’s production. She has featured in many movies and produced 7. This epitome of beauty and a graduate of Business Administration from Polytechnic Ibadan is currently working on a project for her fans delight.
RAHEEM ZAINAB LOVLYN
Raheem Zainab Lovlyn is an Actor, Producer, Communicator and a realtor. She’s a graduate of Mass Communication from Unilag. She’s been in the industry since her secondary school days before she joined Legacy School of Performing Art by Kunle Afod. She was the producer of IKO and Nicki Minaj and lost. She’s presently working on a new project titled “ISU ENI” directed by Kunle Afod. She’s definitely one of the young female producers to watch out for this year.
RENIKE OLADIMEJI
Renike Oladimeji is an actress, producer, screenwriter and content creator. She joined the industry 7 years ago under Ejika Group. She has featured in many Yoruba movies and produced 4 movies. Renike won Revelation Actress of the year 2022 from EsteemAwards. She was awarded a merit of Rising Star, given to her by her Alma Mater Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro.
