He is a Senior Executive with a professional career spanning 30 years of progressive multi-sectoral and multi-functional experience in Marketing Communication and Advertising, FMCG and Oil & Energy.
Bankole possesses proven expertise in Brand Marketing & Communication, Sales/Demand Management, Business Development, Logistics, Oil Trading and Product Procurement; Terminal Operations and Downstream Business horned in several organizations including LINTAS LAGOS; WONDERFOODS Nigeria Limited (PROMASIDOR); CONOIL Plc ; Overage Energy Ltd; IBILE Oil & Gas Corporation (Lagos State Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources) and Mike Adenuga Group where he retired as a Director of Strategy & Adviser to the Board.
He’s currently Principal Associate, Overage Platforms and Consultancy.

Born in 1968 to Late Chief G.S Bankole, a 2nd World War veteran and later, P&T retiree from Ijari Compound, Iyanru, Osi Quarters Otta and Mrs Kuburat (later Julianah) Bankole nee Opaleye, a trader from Agboole Oju -Abere of Owu Abeokuta. Dele Bankole graduated from Anglican Grammar School, Ota in 1985. He Holds a degree BA (Second Class Upper Division) in English from Ogun State University, 1991, an MBA in Marketing from Delta State University, 2000 and certification in Oil & Gas Trading from the prestigious Oxford Princeton, UK.
Dele Bankole is a FELLOW of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria and holds membership of several professional associations locally and abroad.
He’s married to his best friend and soulmate, Aramide Aderoju, from the Owonifari clan of Sagamu Remoland; the relationship is blessed with children.
He was appointed recently by HE, Gov Dapo Abiodun as a Commissioner in the Ogun State Electoral Commission who conducted the last LG elections acknowleged as one freest and fairest elections ever conducted in the State… He heads the Media sub-committee.
He says the forthcoming Iganmode Cultural Festival will be grand and colourful.
