Dad, I am often told I amjust like you. I am honored beyond measure if that is true. You were the best example of what a man should be. I am overwhelmed that someone would say that of me. I am not ashamed to say that no man I ever met was my father’s equal, and I never loved any other man as much. My dad was an incredible man. He provided for his family and made sure his children had the guidance they needed. I am grateful for my dad and I miss him every day. Today I am remembering my dad and the great memories we shared. He was one of a kind and my best friend. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him and smile. My father was my biggest fan and my greatest role model. I could call him at any time and he always has a solution to my problem. Life is different without him, but I am grateful I got to call him my dad.’’’’When I remember my dad, I smile each time. He was a jokester and he made us all laugh.
He taught me not to take life too seriously. He was always in good spirits, even until the day he died.” “My dad was my hero. He was a courageous and resourceful man. I never questioned if he loved or cared for me because he made it so obvious. I still feel him with me each day and I am living life for the both of us now.

Special tribute to an Angel in disguise, ( Dad). My Dad meant everything to me. He was a man of his words. He taught me to be disciplined and love everyone around me. He told me that hard work is the only solution to poverty. This has remained my guiding principle from childhood. My Father was a very religious man. He so much believed in putting God first in everything. You were a Dad who was so special and who was loved so very much. You brought so much happiness to the many hearts you touched. My Father was someone who always had good stories to tell and just as importantly he knew how to be a good listener as well. He was no ordinary man. You were a gift to the world and brought joy to everyone. Dad, great men like you don’t die, they live in the heart of men, your good work is here with us, your legacy will live forever. My siblings and I will keep celebrating you. May Allah bless your soul and rest you in His abode till we meet to part no more. If dead sees dead, greet my mother for me. Watch over us and don’t forsake us.

“To lose your father is to lose the one whose guidance and help you seek, who supports you like a tree trunk supports its branches.” — Yann Martel
My Dad, my world, my god, my role model, my first love, my rock. What can I say about someone who has been the most essential part of my world? What do you say about someone who has provided you with love, strength and support so I can be who I am today. What can you say about the best father ever, and the one that you hope you have inherited some of his wisdom and his strength? It’s difficult for me to explain just how much my father meant to me and I don’t think I’d be able to put it into words, even if I wanted to. I do know that I miss my father more than anything and I will remember him for the rest of my life. He was the best father someone could ask for: selfless, supportive, very intelligent, a genius, a provider, a protector, and father to many. Baba mi abiamototo sun re oooo. May Allah grantyou Alijanah Fridaus

When the mirror is broken you no longer see your image. On that dreadful day ( 7th of May 2022) that you departed this world to join the saints it has not been same again for me. Daddy you were the mirror at which I looked at my life, the mirror at which I looked at myself and now that you are gone my life is so empty that I feel it in my soul. My solace is the fact that you live a righteous life. Every moments of your life is like a book on a path towards heavenly bliss .. Daddy when I close my eyes the image of you is all I see … The summary of our togetherness from cradle to your exit lingers on my mind it’s a memory that even death cannot erase … Your departure has made me broken and transformed me into a strong man. The transformation that life is vain and everything in it is vanity. This death won’t separate us as I would soon grow old and exit just like you did and we meet again soon to continue as father and son. Then my son also would pay tribute to me like I am doing this morning to your blessed memory. Rest in the Lord true soldier of faith. Adieu my mirror. I don’t have the words to express how much I miss you. From a tender age you told me that you loved me, and I grew up knowing it is normal to openly tell my father that I love him and vice versa. This is not common in the African tradition but you loved me and said it out loud and that was it. I’m glad that I told you that I loved you, glad that you knew. I will always cherish all the wonderful memories. I know you are watching over all of us, We all miss you terribly. I miss you terribly. I speak with you all the time and I know you can hear me. I love you Daddy. Adieu my Hero!!

Special tribute to my dad. His adherence to truth and truthfulness can not be over stated. He was a man of truth by his words and actions. He tried to be truthfulness in whatever decisions he took during his life time. He made us understand the importance of congregational prayers. He led the solat of each prayer and rendered beautiful duas at each end of solat. He observed supererogatory prayers before and after the obligatory congregational ones. Upon being an affluent man in his life time he took all Islamic inductions with all seriousness, excellence and consistency. He was a very caring father who monitors his children regardless of their age, position and status in life. Also to his friends and relatives. Very appreciative of any little you give to him, wheather in cash or kind. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, limitation and mistakes and may Allah (SWA,) have mercy on him. Ameen
