Engr. Abduljelyl Adekunle Karheem MCIARB, MCIOB, MCABE, CEO of Afia Group and the Mogaji of Adanla family, hosted a magnificent Iftar gathering on March 7, 2026, at Adanla’s Palace, Chief Lateef Oyelade G.R.A, Ring Road, Ibadan.

The event, which commenced with prayers at 5:00 PM, brought together a diverse group of community members, religious leaders, and dignitaries to break their fast in an atmosphere of unity and reflection.

The menu for the Iftar program included fruits and vegetables, proper meals (both local and continental), bread and pepper soup, and choice soft drinks.

Among the personalities in attendance at the gracious occasion were Mogaji Adanla’s elder sister, Alhaja Mujidat Adenike Abiola, other family members and friends, and representatives from the Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Aid Group. Mogaji Adanla is the South West Grand Patron for the Nigeria Aid Group, and their delegation was led by their Chairman, Dr. Abass Gbolahan.

Other groups present included the Islamic Centre of Theology and Tijaniya Muslim students from the University of Ibadan, among others.

Dr. Gbolahan, speaking on the sidelines of the event, expressed his profound gratitude to Mogaji Adanla for hosting such a glamorous Iftar program, and also commended him for his positive efforts and commitment to the growth of the Nigeria Aid Group and Islam generally.

This Iftar program came after Mogaji Adanla, who doubles as Turaki Adini of Oyo State; Giwa Adini of Offa (Kwara State); and Wakil Faido Tijaniyyah of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states, had earlier announced free Ramadan breaking meals (iftar) for 100 people daily for 15 days, to be served at the popular Onisasun Restaurant, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan.

Mogaji Adanla’s commitment to both spiritual fellowship and practical community aid continues to be a source of inspiration during this holy month.
