Chief Adetunji, FCA is a pillar of community development – NAGS says

The national leadership of the National Association of Gbongan Students, home and abroad has declared the union’s readiness to convene an epoch-making leadership and academic conference in honour of its life patron, High Chief Adewuyi Adetunji, FCA on Saturday, December 21, 2024, describing the respected community leader and elder statesman as a “pillar of community development” in Gbongan.

This is contained in a statement jointly issued by the association’s Public Relations Officer and President, Comrades Odemakin Babatunde Adeposi and Abiola, Joshua Okikijesu respectively on Saturday, 7th of December shortly after the group’s national executive council meeting.

The student body who praised Chief Adewuyi Adetunji‘s unwavering commitment and dedication to the development and progress of the association as its patron, and Gbongan community at large, said Baba is a source of inspiration to many people of Gbongan particularly the student, youth community, highlighting the readiness of members of the union to meet and learn from Chief Adetunji‘s sterling leadership qualities.

The union’s PRO, Comrade Odemakin Babatunde said: Our life patron, BabaOba Olufi of Gbonganland – High Chief Adewuyi Adetunji, FCA is a golden icon of leadership to us. Our association and the community will continue to learn from his leadership pool.

“We so much believe in Baba’s directions and his legacies. That’s why we ratified that this year’s leadership and academic summit be convened in his honour.

“We therefore call on members, alumni of our dear association, youths and other learners in the community to come and meet, learn from our father, Baba Adewuyi Adetunji, FCA in a leadership and academic summit on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Grammar School Hall, Adenuga, Gbongan“, the statement declared.
