The 2016 visit was in his capacity as the Chairman of the Otunba (Dr.) Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye MFR “KSA Festival 2016” Planning Committee, accompanied by the legendary television presenter Julie Coker.
During last Monday visit, Oloye Alabi was accompanied by his first son, Aremo Olayemi Alabi, a UK-based barrister. In a discussion with the High Commissioner during the visit, Oloye Lekan Alabi prayed that Nigerian students and visitors should keep the custom of familiarising themselves with the Commission going because of its numerous advantages. His discussions with the High Commissioner touched on the promotion of unity among Nigerians in the UK, protection of our cultural values and protection of the integrity of Nigeria. He later presented to the High Commissioner a copy of his biography “Oloye Lekan Alabi – An Unbelievable Life” authored by the current Acting President, Institute of Economists of Nigeria, Emeritus Professor OBC Nwolise.
