Pastor Wole Oladiyun, the founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM) and chairman of Soteria Hospital, during the City People Magazine team’s visit, called for greater youth empowerment, agribusiness development, and the eradication of greed in leadership to foster sustainable growth in Nigeria.
Pastor Wole Oladiyun, who is also a civil engineer, entrepreneur, and author of over 50 books, explained the importance of building a resilient and self-reliant youth population. As the chairman of multiple organizations, he spoke on various pressing issues affecting the country and highlighted the role of education and agriculture in shaping the future of the nation.
The Senior Pastor, with leadership roles across several institutions, spoke extensively about the need for human capital development and urged young people to cultivate grit and mental fortitude in the face of adversity.
As a passionate advocate for agribusiness, Pastor Olaiyun encouraged young Nigerians to consider fully mechanized farming as a pathway to financial independence. He emphasized that the food market remains one of the largest untapped sectors for entrepreneurial success, urging the youth to read transformative books like The Magic of Thinking Big and Jewish Phenomenon to spark creativity and innovation.
In addition to his advocacy for youth empowerment, he shared his belief that every individual carries the seed of greatness, but it takes continuous learning and reinvention to unlock that potential and urged leaders to help younger generations succeed by providing guidance and opportunities for growth.
Pastor Oladiyun also addressed Nigeria’s socio-political situation, calling for the eradication of greed and corruption. He spoke about the need for a balanced leadership structure and suggested a return to the regional governance system to ensure fair development across the country’s geopolitical zones.
