The Muslim community and the wider public have been thrown into mourning following the passing of Sheikh Surajudeen Akanni, popularly known as Asukuna.
The respected Islamic cleric died this afternoon after a brief illness.
According to family sources, the late Sheikh will be laid to rest tomorrow in accordance with Islamic rites.
