Elegant looking Adeola Omowunmi is one of the busiest business women from the African continent right now. She has very busy schedules. Her list of clientele is long and endless and in most cases, they always insist they want her to personally attend to them. She has built such strong confidence and trust in many f her customers that its become increasingly difficult for them to take certain decisions concerning their body, their skin or even their sex life, without seeking for her expert advice.
Tall and undeniably gorgeous, Adeola is a serial entrepreneur who has her hands in many business pies. She is based in the UK. Adeola loves business, it’s what she’s been doing since she was 18, before she got into the university. She is into catering. She sells wigs. She sells Aphrodisiacs. But her biggest business which has evolved into a global brand, is her skin care line called PLEASANT GLOW. Adeola is a Skin care expert, but one with a difference. She doesn’t just sell cream, she also offers quality and insightful consultations that have helped many women solve their severe skin problems. She has undergone several trainings that have equipped her to offer such consultations and prescribe the appropriate body creams for her clientele.
But her skin care line is not the only aspect of her business that’s flourishing. Her Aphrodisiac line of the business is also doing very well. She has been able to build a large clientele base consisting of male and female celebs who consistently buy her Aphrodisiac products because of their proven potency. For her Aphrodisiac business, Adeola caters for both men and women. And she never disappoints them, her incredibly high success rate speaks for itself.
This very cool and brilliant lady recently spoke with City People’s Senior Editor, WALE LAWAL (08037209290) about her Aphrodisiac business and how she has been able to make quite an impact in the business. Below are excerpts of the interview.
To begin with, knowing you have other forms of business you’re into, what triggered your interest to go into Aphrodisiac business?
I will say that what encouraged me to go into Aphrodisiacs was that my existing customers in the Skin care business were asking me if I sell Aphrodisiacs, maybe because other skin care vendors do sell Aphrodisiacs as well.
A lot of people call it Kayanmata. But the interpretation in the real sense of it in in the social media is totally different from what it really is to be honest.
Do you have a particular name for your Aphrodiusiac line?
Well, not really that I gave it a specific name, but the individual products in the Aphrodisiacs section of the business have their own names. For instance, we have the Crave Me powder and the name itself is derived from the impression that the product gives. When a woman is well lubricated when having sex, the man will enjoy her the more and she will equally enjoy it as well. So, the product is simply saying that when you use it, the man will crave you because he will have a really great experience with you in the other room. Then, we one for the men, we named that Manpower just because a lot of male Aphrodisiacs are called Man power so I just felt that, okay, since that name is popular, why not adopt it so that once the men hear it, they immediately know what it is for.
Before going into the business, as a young girl growing up, what did you know about local herbs back then and how has that knowledge helped you in the business today?
No, I won’t say that I used to know so much about herbs while growing up. Though we used to have the local herbs called Agbo that our parents would cook them and we drink them and in most cases they are bitter, so I didn’t like herbs while growing up.
Now, relating that to the Aphrodisiacs business, what we have in all of these products are things we eat everyday. Contrary to the popular interpretation of these products on social media that Kayanmata is used to tie men down and all of that nonsense, it is absolutely not correct. Kayanmata is the name given to Aphrodisiacs by the Hausas from the northern part of Nigeria and all these products are made from things that we eat everyday, that’s why they are usually very sweet. And it is basically meant to help couples enjoy themselves in the other room.
But I always say something, when it comes to sexual relationship, if the feeling is not mutual, apart from the fact that the man or the woman could have issues with their sexual ability, or the woman has to struggle with hormonal imbalance which a lot of things could be responsible for, the way we treat each other even outside the moment we want to have sex, also goes a very long way in determining how you both enjoy that moment when you’re together.
I will say that if a woman is very happy with you and she had very strong feelings for you, even if she’s struggling with hormonal imbalance, she will still be very sexually active when she’s bed with you because she’s happy. When a woman is happy, it goes a very long way.
So, in that regard, she could need something that could help her body to be more responsive so that she won’t be too dry down there. If she’s having hormonal imbalance, she could be dry. When a woman is not happy with you, she will lose every sense of her sexual emotions in the other room. Even if she takes Aphrodisiacs, if she’s not happy, her body will still not be responsive.
I don’t deceive people so that they can patronise me or buy my products, the reality is that is that, to have a sexually great relationship with anyone, the feelings need to be very strong and I’m talking to you from the point of a woman now and that’s why it’s usually different from men.
When men take Aphrodisiacs it doesn’t mean that they have to be in love with you to sleep with you, no. Their body will be responsive, that’s the way men are wired. Naturally, the man’s libido is far higher than that of the woman. That’s why we find lots of men having multiple sex partners, because their libido is naturally higher than that of women.
People have their own interpretations when they hear the word, Kayanmata. What type of Kayanmata are you focused on?
Well for me, Kayanmata is just a word or name given to Aphrodisiacs from the Northern part of Nigeria. And contrary to what we read in the papers or on social media that Kayanmata is meant to tie a man down so that he can forget about his family and stick to the woman he is dating, especially when the man is married and he has another partner or mistress or whatever you want to call it, and some people will say they want to use Kayanmata for the man.
For me, anything that will tie a man down, that is no more Kayanmata, that is now Jazz. Because all that Kayanmata does is to enhance your libido, boost your libido, balance your hormones.
But if you’re talking about tying anybody down, I don’t believe in all that nonsense. I simply don’t believe in it. It’s all nonsense and it has nothing to do with Aphrodisiacs. Aphrodisiacs are things that we eat everyday. The ingredients consists of things that we consume everyday. I will not agree that Kayanmata is all about tying someone down, no. If I have to tie someone down, that means you are controlling that person with Jazz. So, that’s my interpretation for that.
So, the only thing that I do are things that will help your sexual hormones, nothing more than that.
And we shouldn’t allow religion to make us to be unnecessarily dogmatic about some things that are not true. Even some Christians will tell you they don’t take medications, to me that doesn’t make sense. And Aphrodisiacs is a form of medication because it helps your body to be active and helps your body to do what it is meant to do, so, in a way, it’s still like medication. So, there’s nothing wrong for you to take Aphrodisiacs for you to be sexually active with your partner, with your wife or husband.
How would you describe the success rate of your Aphrodisiacs? How potent are and what sort of testimonies have you received from your customers?
Well, if you ask me, our Aphrodisiacs are very potent. And for me, if something is not working, I will not sell it because people must get value for their money.
So, I will repeat that what Aphrodisiacs do is to help enhance your sexual hormones.
And like I said earlier, when it comes to women, it goes beyond us taking Aphrodisiacs to be able to have pleasure in the other room. The woman needs to be happy, she needs to be very comfortable with her partner. She needs to be sure of the love you have for her.
Some people might have a different opinion about this, but from my own experience, I will say that Aphrodisiacs work and of course, it’s testimonies abound. When women use it, they realise that they get the urge, their libido becomes higher than what it used to be.
Some people literally have dead libidos. They don’t have libido at all. They don’t get easily aroused. And in most cases, such women are not happy women. They are not happy in their relationships. And maybe in the case of, marriage, you know we Africans, the way we think, the woman stays in the marriage and says because of my children I can’t leave the man. They are not really happy women. But when a happy woman takes Aphrodisiacs, she has to be ready for a really, really pleasurable time in the other room with her man. Yes, I will say that a million times.
And for the product that we have for men, our Man power is very, very potent, one hundred percent. So, when men buy them, they always come back for them. And we have gotten very good testimonies from them.
Who would you say forms the larger bulk of your clientele, men or women?
I wouldn’t say I have a very higher percentage of Men more than Women, it depends on your marketing. The particular product that you market the more will definitely sell.
If you market Man power very well and they see it repeatedly, you will find a lot of men turning out to buy it and a lot of women buying it for their men and for themselves as well. I think it does very well with both genders to be honest in terms of patronage.
You know, men have their own issues in the other room. Some are described as one-minute men, that means he can’t hold erection for a long period of time or he does not get erection at all, that’s part of the reasons why men take Aphrodisiacs. And for women, when their libido is very low and they get very dry in their vagina, so what the Aphrodisiacs will do is to make them very, very wet, very well lubricated so that they can have good friction so that the man can enjoy the moment.
And of course, when the woman is well lubricated, she enjoys it herself. Even when your body is responsive to the the Aphrodisiacs you have taken, and your body is excreting the fluids, the feelings that you have at that time, you will really love it. You will definitely love it, so I think it’s both genders to be honest. I won’t say one is more than the other.
