It was a classy 40th birthday party with a difference. It had all the glitz and glamour. The celebrant, an accomplished woman of class and finesse had a picture of how she wanted to celebrate her birthday and she actualised it.
No wonder it turned out to be a well planned party, that was well decorated by Ladots Party City Sole, all in honour of Alhaja Temitope Rasheedat Bakinson, the Yeye Otunba Akile of Igando & Otunba Asiwaju of Igando Central Mosque, held on Sunday 29th, January 2023 at the Beehive school Hall was full to the brim, with high quality guests drawn from all the sectors of society.
The event was anchored by popular multi – award winning Nigerian actor, comedian, radio and Tv presenter, writer and MC, Gbenga Adeyinka CFR.
The Chairman of the day was Dr. Olajide Abiodun Babatunde (Special Adviser to Governor of Lagos State on EGIS and planning matters.
Royal father of the day was Oba (Professor Saka Matemilola (Olowu of Owu Kingdom) who was unavoidably absent, represented by his chiefs lead by Chief Oluwole Idowu, Bada of Owu Kingdom, Abese of Owu Kingdom.
Dignitaries began to arrive for the party as from 12pm, as stated in the invite and within a few minutes, the carpark of Beehive School Hall had become jam – packed with exotic cars, as dignitaries walked in, unto the green carpet, with celebrants lovely photos as backdrop.
What made many dignitaries stay on from 12pm till 11pm , dancing to Nigerian R&B afrobeat street music by Seun Bankole, known as SB Live, was because this beautiful lady has touched lives, and she has assisted her husband in his foundation (O K Foundation) she has also been a supporting wife, and hard working woman. Alhaja Temitope is a seasoned professional in the banking industry, she is currently the Marketing Manager/Teamlead with Kayvee Microfinance Bank. She is happily married to Dr. Olanrewaju Bakinson, the Otunba Akile of Igando land, a seasoned Public Administrator, youngest fellow of the National Institute of Town planning in Africa and holds a Ph.d in Public Policy with specialization in geography information science ,they are blessed with 4 wonderful kids. Rasheedat Temitope Bakinson titles and posts include : 1. Yeye Otunba Akile of Igando land, (2) Otun Asiwaju Alasalatu of Igando Central Mosque.
The hall was filled up with members of Dr. Olanrewaju and Rasheedat’s groups like TPL, Kayvee Microfinance Bank, Owu club members and more.
All the speakers at the event commended the role Rasheedat is playing in her home, by assistant her husband in making sure they build a strong home.
