Come Sunday, 13th October, 2019 billionaire businessman, Chief Kessington Adebutu will be installed as the new Patron of the popular Lagos Social Club, Association of Friends (Up Asso). On that day, the club will witness a 3-in1 event, which is namely:
(1) the annual Presidents Night
(2) Investiture of Chief Adebutu as Patron & 2 other VIPs as members. (3) The third is the commissioning of the Newsports Centre named after Chief Kessington Adebutu.
Though Chief Adebutu was proclaimed a Patron last year, the formal investitute will hold on Sunday 13th October, 2019. Over the years, Chief Kessington has been a great supporter of Up Asso. He came for the club’s Presidential Night/induction of new members last year.
He was the Chairman of the Day. He not only came, he stayed on till very late and danced to King Sunny Ade’s sonorous tunes.
