At the just concluded, 2023 City People Female Achievers Award, one lady stood out distinctly both in her dressing and carriage. She is an accomplished entrepreneur and a coach.
Monica Nnoka is that beautiful lady who turned heads when she worked into the hall. She was one of the female achievers who was honoured for her accomplishments.
Weeks before her award, Monica, on Tuesday 18th April, 2023 held a Press Conference to reveal to the world her plans. She is a Lagos entrepreneur. Monica Nnoka who is better known as The More Coach had the Press Conference at De Rembrandt Hotel, Alausa, Lagos. It was a great Question and Answer session with this beautiful lady of substance. Also in attendance were the following professionals like: Mr Femi Luther Abegande, Mr. Chuka Nnoka, Ms Ebunlomo Fawole and Mr. Dapo Daramola.
The Theme of the event was How to help with the right mindset and mental health, and how to improve our mindset positively, most especially our mental health in other to navigate through the challenges of the society like government policies, economy challenges, social challenges, and lastly environment challenges.
She elaborated on each of these challenges while she revealed how she lost her high paying job. She was frustrated to the point where she began to notice her potentials, capability, and the extraordinary seed she is having.
It was a great notification and self discovery at the age of 35, and she sat down to pick up herself to make use of her potential and the extraordinary seed she had in her. So, 2018 marked the starting point of The More Coach by Monica Nnoka and she is ready to share the great discovery for generations to come.
During the conference she made a point that you don’t have to wait for crises before you know your inner strength, and capability to face the challenges of the world.
“According to The More Coach, life has valuable lessons and we must listen and learn”. Furthermore, she said that taking required breaks, intentional vacation that will add self reflection and development to oneself is very crucial and important, and make an extraordinary impact in our lives
Another point she made was that every challenge has advantages. The bigger the challenge, the more significant the advantage.
She says “We should be concious of what we feed our mindset daily and 98% of this is done unconciously. If we don’t intentionally feed our mind, it will eat anything that comes its way.”
“That is where frustration and pressure comes in which will lead to unnecessary aggresion, and distress.”
“We need to learn that healing and forgiveness are very important to step into the next level in life and manifest true abundance.”
“These barriers can delay your greatness in life. Many of us are really pressured and have so many wound that are unhealed and we keep nursing them day in, day out. Many people fall into this category like teachers, parents, employers, religious leaders, CEOs, government officials among others are not living at their full potential and are in survival mode. This leads to a depressed driver driving recklessly, neigbours getting angry unnecessarily which will brew hatred. Likewise, on every platform on social media, we are pouring our anger out there.
The funniest part is that most of us don’t know we are going through all these.”
Moreover, this leads to shifting the blame and responsibility on government, family, environment, or circumstances and live in blame without onleashing, and activating the seed of creativity within us. What we don’t know nor realise is that we carry this great seed in us which is needed for us to be activated positively.”
“What you need to nourish this great seed to germinate healthy is when you have mentors, coaches, and a supportive community which will help in navigating all the storm and challenges of the society you are living in.
So, The More Coach is ready and committed to helping others to discover their full potential through her coaching and event.
She revealed that there are some great events coming up soon, like “Evolve To Became More” which is an exlusive retreat for women in Lagos, Nigeria. This will be coming up on the 21st-23rd, July 2023 and another, worldwide retreat series which is titled “Manifest Your Dreams” it for men and women. It will be taking place in Ghana June 30th-July 2nd, 2023, South Africa August 2023, Dubai – 7th-11th of September 2023, Kigali – 27th – 29th, October 2023, United Kingdom 24-26th, November, 2023 and Nigeria December, 2023.
This upcoming retreat will help participants in taking a break, reflect, and discover their full potential.
