Tuesday 27th December 2022, Dollar Construction, a popular real estate company in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, held its end-of-the-year party. The party, held at Earoview Dollar Estate, Samonda, Ibadan, was colourful.
However, the MD/CEO of the company, Prince Idowu Lamidi didn’t allow the moment to pass without making it a memorable one, h.as he rewarded some of his staff members with cars, motorcycles and cash gifts. It was indeed excitement galore for the winners.
The exercise, according to Engr. Lamidi, becomes necessary to motivate and encourage the dedicated staff.
He said; ” I have decided to honour some of the staff to boost their morale and also to encourage others.”
Two staff members – Kolawole Sodiq Ayomide and Sule Ramoni were blessed with a motorcycle each, while Joshua Tope Ogunlade was given a Toyota Camry car.
Engr. Lamidi also announced a cash gift of N1 million naira to another staff while his friends also added cash gifts to the beneficiaries.
Speaking further during the presentation, Lamidi disclosed that he has doled out over 30 cars in the year 2022 alone and he would continue to bless dedicated and loyal staff as well as other deserving members of the public.
Lamidi equally announced all-expenses-paid foreign trips for some staff, as part of several other incentive measures put in place by the company.
Of course, all these kind gestures are not surprising to those who know what Idowu Lamidi stands for. He’s a known serial entrepreneur and a great philanthropist. He also believes strongly in hard work and capacity building. That clearly explains why he has achieved so much in his field.
Dollar Construction is into housing estates, road construction and others with estates in Abuja, Lagos and Ibadan.
