Hoodlums clashed at Ile-Epo area in Lagos, injuring many and setting fire to some shops on Thursday, May 2.
Many goods worth millions of naira were destroyed in the process.
The Nation learnt that a fight broke out in the market situated in the area on Wednesday night and continued till Thursday morning.
The police tried to intervene but the hoodlums resisted and hurled stones at the fire service truck that arrived to put out the fire.
