Lizzy no doubt is one of the most hardworking and successful actresses in the Yoruba movie industry. She joined the industry over 2 decades ago and has produced over 10 movies, and they all happen to be blockbusters such as “Owo Naira Bet”, “Omowunmi”, “Arewa Ejo” and many others.
It is no more news that this beautiful actress keeps to herself and doesn’t keep friends from the movie industry which is why most people tagged her proud and arrogant. But few days ago when the issue of Baba Suwe’s ill health came up and a fan insulted her on her page for not rendering help to the veteran actor who is currently ill and needs financial assistance, the actress had to open up on reasons why she doesn’t associate with her colleagues in the industry.
According to her “the hate in the industry and from journalists sent my mum to an early grave, they did not allow her to eat the fruit of her labour. My mother battled stroke for 4 years and I was in court with a thief that stole my car all alone at this same time, and what did my colleagues do to help me? They helped to spread bad rumours.
How many of them featured me in their movies or adopted me? Despite my generousity when my beloved mother died, none of the artistes came except Lepa Shandy and Madam Asewo To Re Mecca.
