Saturday, 6th March, 2021, was a beautiful day in the ancient city of Abeokuta, Ogun State, when Media mogul, Penpushing Media boss, Kayode Adedeji, gave out his daughter’s hand in marriage.
The Engagement/Wedding Ceremony between the two lovebirds Temitope Ololade and Ayodele Olufemi, took place at St Peters Cathedral, situated at Ake, in Abeokuta. And it was an event that will linger in people’s minds for a while, considering the number of important dignitaries that graced the occasion. They all trooped out from all over the world to support the two families. No gainsaying, all roads that led to Ake area of Abeokuta were busy that day.
The superlative event kicked-off at 11:30 am, which was early enough to carry out various activities designed for the day, and for many guests who came from distant places to return to their destination on time.

ABOUT THE VENUE
The Engagement/Wedding Ceremony of Temitope Ololade, the daughter of Penpushing Media boss, Kayode Adedeji and Ayodele Olufemi took place at the beautiful hall of St Peter’s Cathedral, situated in Ake area of Abeokuta. It was a well and beautifully decorated hall. It was a blue and white affair. Every Covid-19 rule and regulations were duly observed, as you couldn’t gain entrance into the hall without your face mask on. The seats were well arranged, keeping social distance. Security was top notch. Over 5 security outfits were sighted at the church premises. The Ushers from the Elegant event were on point and made sure everything was well coordinated. The music welcomed you into this heaven on earth hall which was regarded as exclusive and one of the best DJs in town, DJ DIMONEY was on the wheels of steel. The ambience was so conducive and everything went as planned.
IYALODE OF EGBALAND GRACES THE EVENT
One of the dignitaries who made it early to the venue is Iyalode of Egbaland, Chief Mrs Alaba Lawson. Dressed in the Ankara Aso Ebi picked for the day, she looked so glamorous and was given a welcome by Penpushing boss himself before she made her way to the seat reserved for her.
ALAGA IJOKO AND IDURO DISPLAY SKILLS
One of the vendors that made the event a memorable one was the ALAGA IJOKO and IDURO. They kick-started the event in no time and they made everything snappy to the admiration of guests. They deserved an applaud for the coordination of the event.
AND THE GROOM’S FAMILY MEMBERS INVITED
The family members of the groom are from Ijebu, Ogun State. The family was led by the groom’s Father, Taiwo Ajagunna. They did all the necessary things as instructed by the ALAGA IJOKO. As usual, there was an exchange of money.
IT’S AYODELE OLUFEMI’S TURN
Not long after, the Groom’s family members were accepted by the Bride’s family. The two families sat facing each other according to the sitting arrangement. The Groom, Ayodele Olufemi was invited in with his friends. Trust the ALAGA IJOKOs, she surely knows how to do it. The groom, Femi and his friends danced and sprayed money. As usual, he was directed to prostrate according to the Yoruba custom before he took his seat.
BEHOLD THE BEAUTIFUL BRIDE
And the moment everyone was waiting came. The beautiful bride, Temitope Ololade, was invited. She danced in with her friends and siblings, looking so elegant in her blue embroidery Aso Oke, with beads and jewellery to match. It was DJDIMoney who ushered her in with hip hop music before the ALAGA IJOKO took over. There were competitive spraying of money from the 2 families to appreciate her beauty. She was then directed to take her seat beside the groom immediately after the necessary custom was observed.
THE BRIDE’S FATHER AND MOTHER DANCE
Penpushing boss, Kayode Adedeji and his wife were invited to dance one after the other, to honour and celebrate them being great parents. There was a hilarious moment when the ALAGA IJOKO ordered Kayode Adedeji to carry up his bride.
ALAGA IJOKO did the formal introduction of the families and also presented the envelopes before the engagement was brought to a close.
AT THE RECEPTION
The entertainment of guests followed immediately after the engagement.
It was a great evening for all the guests. The taking of photographs and others activities made the event a remarkable one. There was enough to eat and drink.
