Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that a one-storey building with 9 shops and 15 rooms partially collapsed from the back. The building was found to be conspicuously distressed as many cracks were observed on the walls, pillars and decking.
Fortunately, no injuries or mortality recorded.
All the occupants have been evacuated by LASEMA while the building has been condoned off by LASBCA.
Responders at the incident scene are Hon Commissioner for Physical Planning, GM LASBCA, LASEMA, LASBCA, LNSC and LSMTL.
