Saturday, 24th August, 2019, was a day set aside by Nollywood star actress, Nkechi Blessing, to celebrate the new baby of her colleague, Toyin Abraham. Nkechi Blessing Sunday, popularly called Omoge Lekki is one of such rare talents who has risen to stardom in the movie industry. She is one of the most talked-about Nollywood actresses in Nigeria.
Aside acting, she is also a movie producer, brand influencer and ambassador. She is one of the most trending actresses in the Yoruba genre, who rose to stardom with a movie entitled: Omoge Lekki. She is an award-winning actress and also the CEO of Nkechi films production.
A large number of her colleagues in the industry know her to be a close ally of Toyin Abraham. The story of their friendship transcends professional borders and it has been a thing of discussion in the movie industry for sometime. Not many people know that, aside entertainment, Nkechi Blessing Sunday is also a philanthropist.
She has a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) NBS Foundation through which she gives back to the society. Saturday, 24th August, 2019, marked a new turn for her team, as she played hosted a three-in-one party for her fans in Lagos. The party was the first of its kind. She and her team started the three-in-one party with the first year celebration of Team NBS.
It was followd by Toyin Abrahams and Kolawole Ajeyemi’s baby naming ceremony and the bikini party. The first year celebration of team NBS was marked with giving back to the street by the NBS Foundation. The event kicked off at Connecting Lagos Suite, Allen Avenue, Ikeja in Lagos, where her team members and fans gathered to give back to the society.
Interestingly, movie stars including Aremu Afolayan, Apeke Ademola (bold all well), Joseph Momodu, Bakare Zhainab, Olu Micheals to mention a few, came all out to support NBS Foundation. Bold all well displayed her musical prowess as she expressed her love for Toyin Abraham, her husband and their baby.
The star actress led her team and colleagues in NBS Foundation spotting white-and-black T-shirt to Agege community where she grew up, for a social service. There was more than enough food, drinks, and gift to share to the less privileged. The NBS Foundation team got a warm reception as fans rushed to give them warm hugs as they collect their gift packs.
Their joy knew no bound as many showered prayers on them. The young and old were so happy to mingle and dance with celebrities whom they have only seen on screen. The giving back to the street lasted for over two hours as people kept coming for the gift packs. The giving back to the street was a huge success and the NBS Foundation wrapped it up with photo sessions.

It was a no-Ankara, no reception for entry, as the ankara Aso-Ebi served as an invitation to the party and there was maximum security for guests.
Toyin’s colleagues and fans came out en-masse to felicitate with the Ajeyemis.The ambience at the Connecting Lagos Suites Allen Ikeja, Lagos added colour to the event. The red carpet was the the icing on the cake as it dazzled guests. It was spruced up with colourful flowers to complement it. Toyin Titans/took turns at the red carpet before stepping in to the hall.
The hall was decorated with chandeliers and lightening candles. Guests could not help but take photographs with the beautiful decorations. They got a very warm welcome from Melody Band. Melody band thrilled the guests with sonorous songs, as they stepped into the hall. Guests had so much to eat and drink on each table as Melody Band.
Multi-award-winning actress, Nkechi blessing Sunday stepped into the hall in grand style to welcome her guests. She rocked a luxury blue sequinned lace with a blue Aso-oke head gear to match. She was the cynosure of all eyes, as she rocked a silver shoe and clutched a purse.
Toyin Titans repeatedly gave her hugs as she took photographs with them varieties of food and drinks were served as the master of ceremony took over from the band. African Pencil Gee was the anchor and he entertained guests with jokes that sent them reeling in laughter.Top celebrity fashion designer, popularly known as ceoluminee, stormed the red carpet in her gorgeous gown. She rocked the Aso-Ebi Ankara with a difference.
She stole the show with her beautiful dress, which caught the attention of many. Nkechi Blessing Sunday, also joined on the red carpet, rocking the Aso-Ebi Ankara, which was also designed by ceoluminee. The duo entertained guests with different posing stances and dancing styles on the red carpet.It was time to cut the cake and Nkechi surprised her fans when she started appreciating God in Tope Alabi’s songs and they got more surprises when she sang several of Tope Alabi’s songs.
She noticed that the fans were surprised to hear her sing gospel songs and that was when she said that she was a very religious person who does not joke with God. She also remarked that her activities on social media do not define her personality, adding that it is just for the grams. Guests joined her in the cutting of cakes, photo session and dance sessions. The height of the event was when Kolawole Ajeyemi stepped into the event center.
His arrival changed the atmosphere. Toyin Titans could not hold back their joy and they were all over him wanting to take photographs with him. He humbly welcomed guests and gave his words of appreciation to Team NBS, Toyin Titans and everyone present for honouring his family. Woli Arole, one of Nigeria’s best comedians, came to celebrate with Team NBS and Toyin Titans.
His arrival was grand and he got so much admiration from hundreds of his fans who requested to take photographs with him. He humbly granted the requests and joined the team for the Bikini party. The Bikini party took place close to the pool in the same event center.
Ladies rocked different designs and bikini, which revealed some amorous parts of their bodies, while guys also rocked shorts. The ladies had a twerking competition while guys spent crispy Naira notes on the best twerker. The three-in-one Party ended in photo session.
