Star Actor Bolanle Ninalowo is one of the finest actors in the entertainment industry. He succeeded in ruling both the English and Yoruba genres of the movie industry, within has a short period of his stay in the industry. He has become an envy of other actors.
He is an indigene of Ikorodu in Lagos State, a graduate of Deory University with a BSc in Accounting, and a Masters in Marketing from Kelter School of Management in Chicago. He worked as a Banker and also in a company called General Growth Properties in Chicago.
He left Nigeria at age 15 and spent another 15 years in the U.S. In 2010, relocated to Nigeria, and decided to pursue his childhood dream of becoming an actor, Initially, things didn’t work, out but he didn’t give up on his dreams. He produced a movie entitled “Rebirth” Lack of experience and support made things not to work out well as expected. He also tried his hands on music, floated a record label called “Diesel Music” signed a couple of artistes on his label but within a space of 3 years, lost everything he had.
After a break, in 2014, Bolanle decided to again pursue his career in acting with the help of his cousin, Rukky Sanda, who is also an actress-cum-Movie Producer. The break turned out a new beginning. He has since been involved in several other movies production and was rated among the top 5 actors dominating the English genre movie industry, featuring in many movies back to back.
In 2017, Bolanle featured in a blockbuster movie entitled: “Picture Perfect where he acted “Jobe”. The movie was produced by Biodun Stephen, directed by Tope Alake Nino as fondly called by fans and colleagues saw the role Ninalowo as an avenue for him to show his versatility as a professional actor. The movie was, indeed, successful, rated one of the best movies of the year. The movie changed everything for Bolanle. It increased his rating in the industry and paved way for him, most especially in the Yoruba genre movie industry. He became the rave of the moment. As it is often said, nothing good in life comes easy.
According to him, taking up the role of Jobe was a big risk, which could have made or mar his career, so he went into solitude to under-study the Jobe character, to get the accent, he went to study the mannerism he needed, took turns at Ojuelegba for two weeks, got familiar with them and their ways of life.
After a ground breaking performance as Jobe in the movie, Picture Perfect, he became a household name. He became the most sought-after actor in both English and the Yoruba genres movie industry. Though the multi-talented actor always tells whoever cares to listen that the secret of his success began with the grace of God, coupled with determination, discipline, focus, deligence and perseverance, he always turn his pain, failures and disappointment to wisdom.
Bolanle is currently one the highest paid actor in the Yoruba genre movie industry, having his face on the jacket of CD alone sells the movie fast, so every female producer wants to feature him in her movies. It has become a race in which they are ready and willing to pay 60% of the gross cost of the project on Bolanle, while they pay others peanuts, and spend the remaining on equipment and other things required for the movie production. In all this, the other actors, especially the top-rated ones in the industry are no more finding the new development funny. In reaction they have decided to increase their fees a bit too, to also show their relevance in the industry as well.
Besides his good acting skills, Nino is blessed with the looks and charisma, which set him apart and far above other actors in the industry. Apart from acting, he runs a car dealership company and he is happily married to Bunmi, who stays in America with their two kids, and he is born into a very influential family.
