Brand expert and director of Crystal Edge Professional Services, Omobabinrin Adeola Osideko is set to hold the year 2022 edition of the much-anticipated awards “The Iconic Brand Awards” in Lagos.
The event which is coming up on Saturday, November 5, 2022, will be much more elaborate than its previous editions.
The awards ceremony is one of the subsidiaries of Crystal Edge Professional Services and is aimed at recognising and celebrating trailblazers in the business world many of whom are influential business strategists, leadership experts, brand influencers, motivational speakers and many more.
Omobabinrin Adeola Osideko (MSc, FCCA, CPA) is a trained Accountant in Nigeria, Canada, and United Kingdom. Outside her regular job as a Finance professional, Adeola is a Personal Development Coach and a Branding Expert. She is a graduate of the University of London where she obtained her MSc in Accounting. Her passion for writing, teaching and public speaking is what launched her into what she does presently as a coach, speaker, and Branding consultant.
As the preparation for the awards ceremony intensifies, she spoke to CityPeople Magazine about the awards and how her branding business is fairing. Read the below excerpts:
Tell us briefly about your background.
I was raised in Ibadan the capital of Oyo State where I had my primary school, secondary school and university education. I lost my father at a very tender age and this makes my childhood journey a bit rough, but in all, I came out strong
I was born in Osogbo but my parent relocated to Ibadan Oyo state where I grew up and had all my education including my first job before I later move to Lagos

What inspires Crystal Edge Professional Services?
The passion for business owners to get it right in terms of branding. Branding enables businesses and individuals to stand out in a highly competitive industry and get visible. What visibility does for the business is that it positions it in a way/place where prospective customers/clients can see it
For how long have you been running the business?
Close to 2 years now.
What have been the challenges so far?
Time management and human management. Being a leader is not easy it comes with a lot of tasks and responsibilities. Human beings especially are difficult to manage and unfortunately, you cannot do without people, so the best is to learn how to manage them
What do you look out for in a nominee for your awards?
We look out for consistency, Innovation and brand trust. Before nominees can become an awardee, they must show all these above-mentioned attributes
Where do you see CEPS in the next 5 years?
I see Crystal Edge Professional Services making waves in the training and branding Industry in the next 5 years
