Nollywood Yoruba actress, Wunmi Ajiboye, is facing social media backlash and allegations of having a romantic relationship with the Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garage Management, Musiliu Akinsanya, a.k.a. MC Oluomo.
The actress was criticized for not showing due respect to her estranged husband, Segun Ogungbe, during her mother’s funeral held over the weekend. Furthermore, rumors have it that the burial was sponsored by MC Oluomo.
In response to the allegations, Wunmi took to her Instagram page on Monday, November 21st, 2023, to clear the air. She stated that she is a virtuous and hardworking woman and wouldn’t let her truth be robbed. She also explained that she had sealed an agreement with the King of Fuji Music independently years before her mother’s burial party. Additionally, she had to officially invite the pioneer of the group named CGI (Connecting Grassroots Initiatives), MC Oluomo, as a norm after the birth of the group.
Wunmi denied having any romantic relationship with MC Oluomo, and clarified that the philanthropist gave her money to support the committee a day before the party. She also mentioned that everything she has done single-handedly has always been attributed to him, which somehow robs her of her hard work. However, she acknowledged that he has been a good person to her.
She concluded by stating her name, Omowunmi Ajiboye, and that she would never be bullied into silence. She invited God to judge her if she lied and asked for blessings if this was her truth.
