Igboholand in Oyo State has a new traditional rulerOba Olawuwo Olalere Joel, an educationist, was on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, elected the new Alepata Of Igboholand by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III.

The new monarch succeeds the late Oba Dr. Johnson Oyeyiola, who died in 2016 at the age of 69.

The new monarch is he is the youngest amidst those that have been reigning in Igboho. He is 45 years old.
