•Details Of The Classy Burial In LAGOS

On Thursday 21st and Friday 22th, Jan 2021, the remains of Mrs. Margaret Amoke Ojo was laid to rest in Lagos, as family, friends and well-wishers supported her children, to give Mama a befitting burial. She slept in the Lord at the age of 81.

She was survived by 7 accomplished children, namely: Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwayemisi Akomolede (Phd), Ayaba Mojisola Adetoun Oloko, Mr. Babatunde Ojo, Pastor Olaide Ojo, Engr. Olasunkanmi Ojo, Mr. Olalekan Ojo and Dr. (Mrs.) Motunrayo Fafore (Phd) It was an event which was attended by dignitaries, important personalities and celebrity big boys and babes in and around Lagos. The Wake keep took place on Thursday 21st at KFA Events Centre, Lekki, followed by a Church Service on Friday 22nd at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Arena parish, 2 Joseph Street, off Broad Street, opp. Eleganza building, Lagos Island. And a classy reception followed immediately after Interment at the KFA Event Centre beside the new Elevation Church, along Lekki-Epe Express Way. MAMA MARGARET AMOKE OJO

Mrs Margaret Amoke Ojo was born on the 30th of July, 1939 at Agbole Ope, Epetedo area of Lagos Island into the household of the late Mr Musa Adamson.  She was the only child of her late father but had three (3) siblings, the other children of her mother, (Late Mrs Ganiat Asake Ogunnubi).

She attended Ansar UD Deen Primary School, Okepopo, Lagos Island, Lagos State.

She was born into a Muslim family and was christened Mulikat Amoke. She later gave her life to Christ and was given the baptismal name of Margaret.

She was blessed with Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren doing well across the world. She was a very hardworking, supportive wife, selfless mother and an Entrepreneur. She and her husband were into importation of Nylon and Lace in the 1970s. She was also into several other businesses, ranging from whole sale and retail sale of bread, eggs, vegetable oils, garri, soft drinks, etc. She was a firm person, Lover of God. She raised godly children, not only her biological children but all the children that came across her path.

She served well at St John’s African Church, Ayilara Street, Surulere, Lagos, and

later at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Surulere Main Parish, Nuru

Oniwo Street, Aguda, Surulere, Lagos. Where she was an active member of the Elders’ fellowship and even graduated with flying colours from the School of Disciples (SOD) at such an advanced age.

She transited unto glory with her passion for the service of her Lord at the Zenith.

THE TRIBUTE OF AYABA AND HUBBY

“My Loving Sweet Mother, A Supportive, Caring and Virtuous Wife to her Husband, you were one in a million, am finding it very difficult to refer to you in past tense. You’re a rare beauty in all ramifications, Mummy you taught me how to love and worship God from inception, I grew up learning how to care for others even when you didn’t have much you will still offer help to others whenever necessary.

My prayer warrior, I remember every morning I come into your room I’ll meet you praying for all your children, spouses and grandchildren/great-grandchildren before praying for yourself.

You spend like eternity praying and praising God, a great accomplished woman with a heart full of love for all those who came across you, Mummy I learnt a lot of things from you which helped me shaped my life, right now I can visualize the way you will be singing with the Angels on the judgment day, you indeed finished well!!! Mummy I learnt a lot from you, you’re a rare gem with a beautiful personality, Am so proud to call you My mother, you always tell people not to worry about whatever is troubling them to put all their hopes in God Almighty who is the author and finisher of our faith, Am holding on to that advice you give me every time I discussed my innermost fears and problems with you Abiyamo you will always tell me Mojisola Oko mi ‘Olorun wa ooo fi gbogbo e sile fun, you’re a Selfless Mother to all your children and all those around you, very loving, caring, Mummy I can go on and on, a virtuous hardworking woman who knows herself worth, You gave your all to your children, family and friends, We never lacked anything except you don’t have money for it.

Mummy Abiyamo Tooto, you fought and won the battle, indeed you finished well, I love you hugely, you’re simply unforgettable, even as we have been mourning your departure, we’re much more comforted that you’re now resting with our Lord and Savior,

With so much sorrow in our heart but gratitude to God for a life well spent, we say Adieu.

Our beloved mummy, good night, we love you, heaven knows and we forever do, you were really an ‘Epitome of Motherhood’. May God grant your beautiful soul eternal rest in Jesus mighty name Amen.”

RECEPTION FOLLOWED

After the funeral service and the deceased had been laid to her final home, all guests converged for the exclusive reception at the same venue, KFA Event Centre. The atmosphere was cool, the settings was right and there was a touch of class everywhere. Start from the arrangement of the whole event, where all the tables were tagged, making it easier for guests to locate their host.

WHO WAS ON THE BANDSTAND?

Divine Muzik as fondly called is one of the Juju Bands making waves now. ably led by Adunmadeyin Johns. He was the musician of the day and he did wonderfully well with his performance to the excitement of all guests. In fact, his cool beats and lyrics seemed to have gotten to many guests in good measure, He sang praised all the children of the deceased and many celebrities present sprayed him with some bails of naira notes.

BETWEEN THE SECURITY MEN & EVENT USHERS

The security of this classy event was top notch. Right from the point of entrance into the event grand, everything was on point. The security guys sure knows what they are doing. and they also made sure that everyone observed and obeyed all the Covid-19 preventive measure before gaining entrance into the event. All the ushers were on their toes. They respond to every guest need in a blink of an eye.

WHAT ABOUT THE EVENT PLANNER?

There is no how you will talk about the magnitude of this kind of event without acknowledging the brain behind the coordination. Ayaba’s event without mincing words and without exaggerating had a touch of class. Everything was well coordinated. And the brain behind that is no one but Cute and Simple boss, Mrs Ashabi Adeniyi.

CAPT. OLABODE OLOKO PLAYED HOST

Captain Olabode Oloko is the husband of Ayaba Mojisola Oloko. He is a retired Ship Captain and Officer for Mobil Producing. He runs a Private business and consultancy.  He played a great role in making sure that all the guests were comfortable. He was seen moving from one table to another.

BABA ALARIYA DID WELL

One of the wave making online comedians is Baba Alariya. Everyone at this party attested to his performance on this day. He was able to thrill all the guests with his unique way of cracking jokes. Don’t forget that this young man speaks like a 70 year old man when cracking jokes. Undoubtedly, he’s very good at what he knows how to do best.

CELEBRITY WOMEN DAZZLE

Many of Ayaba’s friends really turned up for this event. It was an evening full of fun. What about their outfits and look? They almost turned the burial reception to a fashion parade. They all looked so beautiful in their Aso Ebi. They complimented it with beautiful and expensive jewelry. Check out their shoes. You need no one to tell you these celebrity women are the life of any party.

Ayaba Mojisola Oloko dazzled everyone at this party. Especially when she changed to her 2nd outfit for the party. It will interest you to know that all the Aso Oke used at the party was supplied by Culture Speaks Aso Oke of Chief Mrs Iyabosola Ninalowo. Did you also see Ayaba at the Wake keep, with her sequence laces from Busieboofabrics. She was the cynosure of all eyes.

The event was packaged by Mrs. Ashabi Adeniyi’s CUTE N SIMPLE, which is into Event Planning Co-ordination, Event decoration, provision of Hosts/Hostesses. All decorations were done by Cute N Simple.

AYABA MOJISOLA OLOKO & HER FASHION STYLE

One of the children of the deceased who stood out at the 2 day event was lady of style, Ayaba Mojisola Oloko. At the Service of Songs & Wake keep service on Thursday 21st January, 2021 held at KFA Event Centre, in Lekki, Lagos, she stood out in her white Iro & Buba. She looked beautiful in her white sequence lace from Busieboo Fabrics and Aso Oke was from Iyabode Ninalowo’s Culture Speaks. At the Funeral Service/Party she also looked elegant. She wore a Luxury Green Gele for the party from Checkers Fabrics and the Green Lace for the party was from Fabric By Rhally. She wore a Light Blue fabric for church service and Burial, which she got from Busieboofabrics.

MAMA ENJOYED TILL SHE DIED

Because Mama took great care of her children, they also took great care of her. She lived in the US for some years with one of her daughters and also did same here.

ABOUT DR. MRS. MOTUNRAYO FAFORE (Phd)

One of Mama’s children is Dr. Mrs. Motunrayo Fafore, a Phd holder. She is a Lecturer in Johannesburg in South Africa.

THE SIMPLICITY OF CAPT. OLOKO

Talk about one accomplished man who is humble and simple to a fault and Capt. Oloko’s name will fit the bill. She is Ayaba Mojisola Oloko’s husband. He is a retired Ship Captain & Officer for Mobil Producing. He is now in Private Business & Consultancy. His wife Ayaba is now his Personal Assistant. She took up the job as P.A after her retirement from Power Holding of Nigeria. She also does petty business.
