…Graduates from Top UK Business School
Adeniyi Adenubi, a vibrant signage and branding implementation professional in Lagos, recently took a significant step in his career to study further in the UK.
With a dint of diligence and hard work, he graduated from the prestigious Hertfordshire Business School at the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom, late in 2024.
The inspiring Nigerian earned a Master’s Degree (MSc.) in Project Management with a specialisation in construction and branding, completing the course between 2023 and late 2024.
His commitment and dedication paid off as he emerged as the valedictorian of his class, setting a remarkable standard for future students.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Adenubi was also honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation for his role as a student representative during the 2023/2024 academic year. The Hertfordshire Business School is recognized as one of the top 25 universities in the UK, making this achievement even more impressive.
Before the remarkable milestone, he obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mathematics and Statistics from the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) in Lagos, followed by an MBA in Marketing from Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria.
Expressing his excitement about this transformative journey, Adenubi shared his gratitude for the opportunity and experience gained. He noted how his diverse background in business, marketing, and mathematics has enriched his work in project management and brand implementation.
“I feel incredibly fulfilled to have completed my MSc degree in the UK. It was a thrilling and explorative experience to leave my branding and advertising career in Lagos to pursue this path,” he said.
“Currently, I am working with Westgate House in the UK and also serving part-time as a student panelist at Hertfordshire University. As a data analyst at Westgate, I help streamline information for families in their homes.”
Looking ahead, Adenubi has ambitious plans for the next five years, aiming to further develop his knowledge and skills, seek opportunities to collaborate with top UK government agencies, and ultimately bring that experience back to Nigeria to partner with the Nigerian government.
“I believe there are incredible opportunities for Nigerian students and professionals in the United Kingdom,” he emphasized. “Before I came to the UK, I specialized in branding and construction, particularly in cladding using aluminum composite, known to many as Alucobond. With over 13 years of experience working with esteemed companies like Caleb University and Delbro Hotel in Lagos, I want to inspire the next generation.”
He urged young people to strive for excellence and encouraged those who can to pursue educational opportunities abroad for invaluable exposure.
