Doles Out Food Packs To BARIGA Indigents
The joy of the people of Bariga knew no bounds last week as Omo Adugbo Foundation put smiles on the faces of women in Bariga. It was an event that saw many women going home with food packs and grateful to God and the man behind it all, Hon. Adegboyega Bari-Sabu for his large heart and compassion towards the needy within the community.
The C.E.O of Omo Adugbo Foundation Hon. Adegboyega Bari-Salau who spearheaded the philanthropic gesture, said “Government cannot do it all alone, it behoves on individuals to support the government, which is what prompted Omo Adugbo Foundation to come up with this program, especially during this yuletide period.
As early as 6:30am, the venue of the Giveaway had been filled to the brim as beneficiaries started thronging the venue of the 2nd Edition of Omo Adugbo Foundation Giveaway.
The organizers were on top of their games, in order to see to a peaceful and hitch free exercise. Security was beefed up around the venue so as to forestall any form of unrest.
The exercise went smoothly as planned, as the beneficiaries, with the assistance of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) picked their food packs and left the venue without any form of hindrances.
While fielding questions from one of the beneficiaries, Mrs Atinuke “She thanked Hon. Ade-Bari and his team for putting up this laudable life saving initiative, amidst the economic downturn in the country.
Mrs Ogbonna, who has been at the venue since 6:00am, commended Omo Adugbo Foundation, for bringing succour to the women in Bariga.
At the end of the program, none of the  beneficiaries left the venue unattended to.
