A few weeks back the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Lagos State branch had investiture of the 27th Branch Chairman and the Executive Committee Members for year 2021-2023. The Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers (NIESV), is an association or body that guides the conduct and practice in the landed profession throughout Nigeria. Below are some of the excos that would lead the affair of the association for the next two years.
MRS ESV OLABISI OMOTAYO DEMOLA-ALADE
Mrs Olabisi Omotayo Demola-Alade is the current Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Lagos State Branch, the leading branch of the noble institution. She is a Deputy Director, Lands Bureau, Governor’s Office, Alausa Ikeja Lagos.
Mrs Olabisi Omotayo Demola-Alade Nee Alabi was born on the 5th of July 1967. She attended Government Primary School between 1972 to 1977 and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate in 1977. She was a student of Government College Agege Lagos, from 1978 to 1983 where she obtained her West African School Leaving Certificate.
She graduated from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Estate Management in the year 1993. She was later redeployed back to Lands to work at the Directorate of Land Services 2008 to 2015. Between 2015 and 2019 she worked at the Directorate of Land Regularisation, until she was redeployed to the Directorate of Land Services in 2019 where she now works as a Deputy Director.
ESV GBENGA ISMAIL
ESV Gbenga Ismail is the current Vice-Chairman, Lagos NIESV. He is an Associate of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).
He’s also a Principal partner, Ismail & Partners. ESV Ismail is also Vice President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), a vital private sector economic organ in Nigeria.
At the National NIESV, ESV Ismail is Chairman, Valuation Faculty and a past Chairman of the Nigerian arm of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), headquartered at the Parliament Square, London in the United Kingdom.
MOSUNMOLA AKINDIOSE
She’s skilled in Negotiations, Marketing, Real Estate Appraisal, Real Estate Development and Facilities Management. She is the current Secretary of the association.
She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Estate Management from Federal University of Technology, Akure and is qualified by the Estate Surveyor and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) and the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV). She is also a member of the International Facility Management Association, Member, Certified Institute of Auctioneering.
ESV GODSPOWER OSAZUWA OMOZUSI
He’s the current Treasurer of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers, Lagos. Is an Associate member of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He is currently the Managing Partner GP Omozusi and Company and the Chairman of GPO Properties Limited. He is married with children.
He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy and Bsc. Business Administration. His working experience is robust and started from the Accountancy practice of Messrs Anjous Uku Eweka and Company, Chartered Accountant in 1985.
His quest for further professional exposure in his chosen field led him into Jide Taiwo and Company in 1986 as Accountant/ Finance Officer. At Jide Taiwo and Co, he was exposed to in-house training on real estate investment and property development. He later worked with Biodun Olapade on in-house training on property Valuations.
ESV. OKPEVA SCHOLASTICA ADANMA
She is the Financial Secretary, NIESV and a graduate of Estate Management from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
She began her career work as Estate Surveyor with the firm of Etudo & Company in 2000 and in 2003, joined Haven Estates Company as the Head of the Agency Department. She worked briefly with Chidi Nwakwuoke & Co. Presently, she is a Partner and Head; Agency Department in Victor Okpeva & Company.
ESV. OLAMOJU, AYODELE ADETUNJI
He is the current Publicity Secretary. ESV Olamoju, Ayodele, ANIVS, RSV, MCAI is the Head of Practice of the firm, Ayo Olamoju Consulting (Estate Surveyors and Valuers).
He is a seasoned, dynamic and accomplished Estate Surveyor and Valuer with over 10 years of experience in the Real Estate industry. He is a graduate of Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke (OSCOTECH), Osun State where he bagged his Higher National Diploma in Estate Management.
Mr Ayodele cut his professional teeth in the firm of Ayinde, Bamijoko & Associates, a firm of Estate Surveying and Valuation after his National Youth Service Corps where he worked in the Property Management Department and performed very brilliantly.
ESV. BABARINDE, SHOLAKUNMI OLASUPO
He’s the current Assistant Secretary. ESV Babarinde Sholakunmi, ANIVS, RSV, MSc is the Senior Partner of the firm, A.A BABARINDE & Co. (Estate Surveyors and Valuers) . He is an experienced and creative Estate Surveyor and Valuer with over 10 years of experience in the Real Estate industry.
He is a graduate of The Federal University of Technology, Minna Niger State (FUTMINNA), where he bagged his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Estate Management.
He went further in his quest for more knowledge in the field of Estate Management & Valuation to study Real Estate and Property Management in his Master of Science Degree (Msc) in the University of Salford, Manchester, United Kingdom.
ESV TOSIN KADIRI
He’s an unofficial member of the excos. ESV Tosin Kadiri is a graduate of Estate Management from Yaba College of Technology which marks the beginning of his Professional Career. He obtained a Masters degree (M.Sc.) in Housing Development & Management from the Premier University of Ibadan in 2006.
Tosin joined a firm of Estate Surveyors and Valuers known as Akin Olawore & Company as an Industrial Trainee in the year 1992 and rose to become a partner in the organization in 2002. He managed the Ikeja branch of the company as a partner until the establishment of Tosin Kadiri and Associates in the year 2013.
ESV OLAYINKA ADEBAYO WASIU
He’s one of the unofficial members, NIESV, Lagos branch. Adebayo was born into the family of Olayinka-Olowu and Akinpelu Royal Family of Ikorodu. He is the last of the three children of Late Alhaji Bisiriyu Ekundayo Olayinka-Olowu and Alhaja Modinat Ajoke Olayinka-Olowu (Alias Baba and Mama Otto). He was born on June 24th 1967. He attended Ago Ijaye Methodist School in Ebute-Metta, Lagos for his primary Education and proceeded to Premier College, Yaba (now Jibowu High School, Yaba) Lagos for his Secondary School Education. After a successful completion of his Secondary School Education, he was admitted to study Town and Regional Planning at the famous Yaba College of Technology in the Year 1987. He graduated with a second class (Upper Division) in the Year 1989.
ESV ADEJUMOKE AKURE
She’s one of the unofficial members, NIESV, Lagos branch. In a professional career spanning over 23 years, which started off in Estate. Management under the professional guidance in the reputable firms of Adegbemile Agangan Akinlosotu & Co., Shote Dawodu & Co and Akin Olawore & Co.; Adejumoke has accumulated extensive experience in Property Management, Valuation, Agency, facilities management, hospital operations management, healthcare services management, technologies, training and skills development.
Prior to coming on board at GOA/Estate Links, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of a social enterprise (Pro-medic Support Services Ltd), which was set up as a support services hub to provide hospital and pre-hospital assistance services to healthcare and non -healthcare corporate organizations.
ESV AYODEJI PAUL AYODELE
He’s one of the unofficial members, NIESV, Lagos. Esv Ayodeji is a trained and registered property investment analyst, Estate Surveyor and Valuator. A passionate community organiser with a focus on solving the hydra-headed housing problem in Africa and youth empowerment. He is an alumnus of the University of Lagos and the University College London. He serves as the Managing Partner of Biodun Odeleye and Company.
ESV ADEDOTUN BAMIGBOLA
He’s also an unofficial member. He’s to advise, guide the current Chairman. He is the past Chairman of the association.
