Healthy rivalry is believed to make anybody desire to work harder in any organization. When you are doing something and nobody is competing with you, it makes you relax and remain stagnant but the moment you realize there are other people striving so hard to achieve much more, it makes such an individual work extra hard and keep setting the pace is high.
This explains what is happening in the movie industry right now between star actresses Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele. Though they are both not quarreling and believe so much that the sky is big enough to accommodate enough stars, the fact still remains that these two talented actresses are the leading stars in the movie industry.

She has loads of endorsement deals with big reputable companies and lots of awards home and abroad. She is one of the most expensive stars in the industry and you can’t see her feature in just any movies, most especially Yoruba movies. she runs scene one productions alongside her husband JJC Skillz, who also directs most of her productions.
Toyin Abraham on the other hand, an actress, producer, and entrepreneur began acting in 2003. She is known for her comic roles in movies, especially with her personal blockbuster movie titled Alakada.
Today, Toyin is one of the biggest brands in the Nigerian movie industry. according to her, starring in the movie, Okafor law and working with movie director, Omoni Oboli was highly instrumental to her brand.
Toyin is not relenting. She has been consistent and making a name for herself in the industry, though she owes the secret of her success to constant self-improvement. She has featured in 90 percent English blockbuster movies in the industry.
Also her self produced movie is rated among the high gross movies at the Box Office making several millions of naira. Toyin emerging the best actress in West Africa in the just concluded Amvca has increased her rating so high in the movie industry.
This hardworking mother of one was about launching her movie Fate of Alakada which featured over 100 top celebrities in the entertainment industry before the Covid19 pandemic.
She also has plans of launching Fate of Alakada series after lockdown with her husband as Director. She is also one of the most expensive actresses in the movie industry, building her empire silently. She is one of the most talked-about stars in Nigeria and loved by many.
She is also a brand ambassador to lots of reputable companies in Nigeria. She is also rumored to replace Funke Akindele as Brand Ambassador for Nigeria Center for Disease Control(NCDC), though that has not been confirmed.
